The funniest part about these "easy $0 side hustle" videos is watching guys make tens of thousands of dollars… selling a $19 course on how to do it, instead of actually doing it. If reviewing household items was that effortless, they wouldn't spend an hour pitching you paid newsletters and software subscriptions. Treat with heavy caution.
The real question is: what basic tools do you need to start this project of generating recurring income through content creation on this platform?
I tried to become an Amazon Influencer and it said that I need a Facebook business account. What does this mean?
If you apply and get accepted, does your social media still have to stay active to keep your account active? Or does it not matter after you’re accepted?

I got in, and even got bronze, but have been rather confused on how to use it. I basically did the three videos and a couple photos and that was it. I already make TikToks
that’s how I signed up initiallyso it seemed like it would be natural. Im going to argue that it’s MUCH easier than making TikTok’s because the audience already wants to see what you’ve made. They’re not seeking entertainment, but rather proof it’s not trash. It’s as easy as he makes it look at the end of the video, and even easier. I justat the time I signed upfelt like I would have to purchase everything to make reviews. So I stopped. That was a year ago. The account is still open. It has 40 cents in it. Im shocked I made anything as I didn’t do any work and rarely log in. Amazon still sends me emails regularly, in an attempt to encourage me to keep going. If you’re reading this and you want to do this, and be successful, NOW is the time to jump in. It’s Aug 29th 2026. We’re entering the biggest selling season of the year. A lot of people make unspeakable cash at this time because the audience really wants to buy the products. No the economy doesn’t matter. You will still make decent cash.Now that I know volume is just as important as quality, im definitely going to start up again. If you’ve made a few TikTok’s or YouTube videos then quality is the easy part for you. He’s right, 2 min videos aren’t hard to make at decent quality. Just light your face or make the video in front of a window when it’s bright outside, and show the product in that same light.

This has been awesome. Its such a no brainer. I have so many great products from Amazon after reviewing so many reviews. I bought the items. I would like doing this. I will.
I researched this a ton… the TLDR… the 1% Amazon gives you is pocket change, he even says the real money is from getting companies to give you a higher cut like 10% but that's after you have been doing it a long while. The easy money is gone since 2024. Not saying it's not doable but it's a long process and if you really love doing content showing off stuff then it fits but to set expectations of making 10K in a short period of time is not going to happen IMO.

The biggest insight, around 29 minutes in this video, is Creator Connections.
Amazon’s own July 21, 2026 documentation confirms the program is active and describes it as a marketplace where brands offer bonus commissions to Amazon creators for qualifying sales.
Eligible creators must participate in the Amazon Influencer Program and reach Bronze tier or higher in Creator Stars.
The important distinction is this:
You upload a product review video to your Amazon Influencer storefront and tag the ASIN. Amazon reviews the content. Amazon then decides whether the video gets placed on the product detail page.
The seller does not control the placement.
Amazon explicitly says influencer videos are automatically distributed based on quality standards and relevance.
Amazon also confirms the basic eligibility path. Once you have 10 videos approved by moderation and complete onsite commission signup, your videos become eligible to appear on relevant product detail pages.
