Someone please explain how this makes sense. I’ve seen demonstrations where a teacher puts a tight sheet down with a weight in the middle and rolls marbles around to get the same point across. What doesn’t make sense to me is how that his explanation or that demonstration translates to reality? It makes sense on paper but if that were the case wouldn’t that mean that we and every other sun planet and orbiting rock in every galaxy operate on a flat plane? How could that make sense of we’re floating through space while orbiting while spinning on an axis while rotating on that axis while doing a corkscrew through space while it’s expanding and everything is going different directions? Bruh
